Applications are invited by the West Central Railway Recruitment Board for vacancies in the teaching staff at WCR SR. SEC. SCHOOL N.K.J., KATNI during the Academic session 2021-2022 from candidates who meet the educational requirements and other eligibility criteria.
Appointment will be for a period of not more than 200 (two hundred) working days and not less than 7 (seven) working days, or through Railway Recruitment Board or by promotion of existing regular teaching staff, whichever is earlier, subject to any further instructions issued. The position is solely on a contract basis that will be remunerated on a fixed monthly consolidated basis.

Educational Qualification & Other Requirements
(i) Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):-
- Graduate Degree (in the subject teaching) and have a 2-year degree in Elementary Education (under whatever name they may be called).
OR
Graduation (in the teaching subject) with minimum 50% marks and completed one year of Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.).
OR
Graduate (in the teaching subject) with minimum 45% marks, plus a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed. ), in accordance with NCTE Regulations (Recognition Norms and Procedures).
OR
Secondary education (or its equivalent) with a minimum percentage of 50% marks and four years of bachelor’s degree in elementary education (B. El. Ed.). Secondary education (or its equivalent) with a minimum percentage of 50% marks and 4 Years B.A Ed. or B.Sc Ed.
- Passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the government according to the guidelines framed by the NCTE for that purpose.
- Able to teach in the Hindi and English languages.
(ii) Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):-
- 2 Years of Master’s degree program in the concerned subject at the Regional College of Education of NCERT
OR
A Master’s Degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks in one of the following subjects: Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Commerce, Economics.
- B. Ed degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- A fluent command of the English and Hindi languages.
Note:- Preference will be given to candidates with computer knowledge and advanced qualifications in activities like Yoga, Physical Education, counseling, etc.
Instructions:
- TA/DA shall not be admissible for interview.
- A copy of the no-objection certificate from the candidate’s current employer is required if the candidate is already employed.
- Upon selection, selected candidates must submit to a medical fitness test by a railway medical authority before entering into a contract. In addition, a police verification certificate and a character reference from a gazetted officer are required to be presented upon joining duty.
- No claims or rights will be made by contract teachers for regular employment and they will not be eligible for regular benefits or other privileges.
- There shall be no entitlement to continuity of service, an extension of the contract period, or regularization of service for contract teachers.
- Candidates selected for contractual appointments will have to execute an agreement with the Railway administration.
- Candidates must present original documents supporting their educational or technical qualifications and proof of age upon registration/interview.
- If any candidate is applying for more than one post, he/she should submit separate applications for each.
- The following documents are required to be presented by all applicants called for an interview, along with two copies of each document.
- Certificate of date of birth.
- Current employer’s NOC, if applicable.
- Certificate of Teaching Experience
- Education/Academic Qualifications from an accredited institution or board. (Mark Sheet, Degree certificate/passing certificate, etc.)
- Aadhar card and PAN card.
- Application form filled out in the prescribed format. Attached to it, self-attested copies of relevant certificates/documents with passport size photos.
