Eastern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Recruitment Age Limit:
The age limit for Eastern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Recruitment 2022 is set as per the table given below:

Eastern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Recruitment 2022: Qualification Required

Eastern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Recruitment Examination Fees:
- For UR & OBC candidates:- Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400/- to be refunded on appearing examination)
- For SC/ST / Ex-serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically Backward Classes:- Rs. 250/- (Total amount to be refunded on appearing examination)

Eastern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Section of candidates will be done on the basis of total marks secured by the candidates in written examination and marks acquired on the basis of certificates. The breakout of marks to be awarded is as follows: Stage I (Written Test) – 60 Marks and Stage II (Marks on Certificate) – 40 Marks.
Only candidates qualifying in written examination will be eligible for Stage II of the recruitment process.
Medical Examination: As per MERIT ORDER, candidates clearing Stage-I and Stage-II will be sent to Railway Hospital for medical examination in the ratio of 1:1 of Notified vacancies. A candidate must be certified as fit for the offered position by the Railway Medical Authority, in accordance with the prescribed medical category.
How to Apply For Eastern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Recruitment 2022:
- Visit RRC-ER’s website at www.rrcer.com Kolkata or Eastern Railway’s website at www.er.indianrailways.gov.in -> Railway Recruitment Cell. Click on “Online/E-Application for Scouts & Guides Quota /2022-23” link. Click on the “New Registration” link.
- Enter your personal information, such as your Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Community, E-mail Address, and Mobile Number. Once the required details are submitted, an e-mail/SMS will be sent to the registered e-mail address/mobile number. Note the registration number and password that you received in your registered e-mail/SMS inbox.
- Login with the Registration number and password you received via e-mail or SMS.
- Complete the registration process step-by-step and upload an image of your photograph, signature, and LTI, as well as self-attested proof of your date of birth, educational credentials and caste, if you are SC/ST/OBC/EBC, income certificate, self declaration about OBC and minority community membership, and Scouts & Guides accomplishments.
- Candidates will be issued a Unique Registration Number during the submission of their ONLINE application. In order to facilitate future recruitment processes and correspondence, candidates are encouraged to retain/note their Registration Numbers.
- Candidates should have their own mobile number and a valid & active personal email address. They must maintain these numbers and emails for the duration of recruitment. There will be no action taken by RRC when it comes to requests for changing mobile numbers and email addresses in the later stage of selection.
- Candidates are advised to take 2 copies of the print out copy of the application form after submitting their complete application.
